Happy New Year! Last year I undertook the mammoth job of organizing my craft room. If you saw the before and after videos, you know it was no small feat! I made several organizing tools, and have had requests for a video on how to make the over the door organizer.
I needed to make one for a friend (she wanted to use hers in her small bathroom) so we videotaped the process.
These can be used over most doors. I’ve seen small organizers to put over under the sink cabinet doors, inside pantry doors, and on bedroom doors. And the beauty of it is you can customize it for your needs. Do you need more pockets/fewer pockest? Larger/smaller pockets? Make it your way, in your colors, and your style.
It’s a simple project, but because we are using vinyl for the pockets extra care needs to be taken in the sewing, making this a 4-5 hour project (weekend project). The video is long (about 20 mins) but I tried to give you step by step details.
I hope you enjoy making this fun Over the Door Organizer!
